What data we collect, and why

Early-access interest: if you sign up for paid early access or onboarding on our website, we collect your email address. We use it to inform you about access, onboarding, and product updates, based solely on the consent you actively give at signup. You can withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing.

Using the product: once you have access to REIOS, we process the data you enter yourself, such as information about your properties, transactions, financing, valuations, documents, and contacts. This is necessary to deliver the service you requested (performance of a contract).

Usage signals and feedback: we keep basic usage data (for example, which pages you visit within the app) and any feedback you share with us, in order to improve REIOS. We do this based on our legitimate interest in developing a good product.

Cookies and tracking

REIOS currently doesn't use marketing or tracking cookies. The only cookie we place is a functional Supabase session cookie, necessary to keep you logged in; no consent is required for this.

For the public website, we use Vercel Analytics to measure visitor numbers and general usage, such as which language version is visited and whether a visitor shows interest in early access. This service doesn't place cookies and doesn't collect personal data or identifiable information about individual visitors, so no consent is required for it.

Who we share data with

We only share data with parties that help us deliver the service (processors):

• Supabase (database and authentication)
• Vercel (hosting, website analytics)
• Resend (sending confirmation emails)

All of these parties process data within the European Union (AWS eu-west-1, Ireland). No data is transferred outside the EU/EEA.

How long we keep data

• Early-access signups that aren't confirmed within 12 months are automatically deleted.
• Internal product analytics are kept for a maximum of 12 months.
• When you delete your account, we remove your data from our active systems within 30 days. Backups that may still contain your data are automatically overwritten within a maximum of 90 days.
• Financial/administrative records subject to statutory retention requirements, such as invoices and payment records, are kept for 7 years as required by Dutch tax law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, and restrict your personal data, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability. You can contact us about this at info [at] reios [dot] nl. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, and database-level access control (row-level security).

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
